Some #foobar2000 help needed, so I #AskFedi.
I have two separate libraries, one for stereo, one for multi-channel in /media/music and /media/surround, respectively. Those folders are monitored.
Now if an album exists both as 2.0 and 5.1, the library view shows both, so I set up filters (%path% HAS /media/music and %path HAS /media/surround), which I applied to two ReFacets in two tabs. The question is how can I get folder view in there, so I can drill down as artist/album/path/to/song.ext? Without folder view I get columns which I don't like, because I like 'em sorted as Artist, The/Album, The, not The Artist/The Album.
Any ideas? -

@m1rk0 Is there a way to have two libraries without having to run two portable instances perhaps?

Any ideas?@yourfutureex Is there a then statement? You're basically asking Foobar to make a choice without providing a solution for TRUE.

@yourfutureex I am using automated playlists based on specific folders. But the source is a single library. A couple of years ago i used 2 installations of Foobar, one classic, one portable, to split the library.
Only 1 library is possible with 1 installation. I don't know of an add-on to change this. -

@wendigo It is not an IF-THEN structure, I create filters (%path% HAS...) and apply to both the ReFacets, which give me the proper, filtered view of my combined library - one tab showing the stereo files, the other the multi-channel ones.
My issue is that the library element has a folder structure view (see pic #1), while the applied filters in the ReFacets give me pic #2, completely defeating my preferred sorting order 🤷♀️ -

Let me have a look. Luckily, I'm on a Windows box with foobar2000 installed. Give this a gander because if anything will have your solution, it will be this:

My library is still populating, but I did play around with ReFacets a little. I, too, have a path distinction. One is STD_RES and the other is HI_RES. More later... By the way, the FILTER commands are basically IF / THEN statements...

@yourfutureex the variable is %directory_structure% if you can work it in somewhere. Still figuring that out... ;>)
