Hmm, twitch says it does not support WaterFox... I'm positive I had used it before with no issue.
Gonna try browser agent spoofing.
Edit: No joy. But it's fine, one less thing to divert my attention then.

@afreytes and I'm not sure, I might have ublock disabled for twitch because of drops for Overwatch

The mystery deepens. On the desktop, twitch works fine on WaterFox.
I wonder what could be different from the laptop to the desktop since both are running Mint plus WaterFox plus the same plugins since it's a synced profile...

Emu2 is a x86 and MS-DOS emulator that runs in a Linux terminal. Launching an MS-DOS program from the Linux shell is as simple as executing `emu2 myprog.exe`.
It reminds me of this CP/M emulator with a similar approach. For example, to run WordStar from the Linux shell execute `cpm ws`.
