@pfefferle is there a reason why you aren't looking first at the official specification?
The "soft-delete" behaviour is the actual spec conformant mechanism for deletion in ActivityPub.
What @julian describes as "hard-delete" in this FEP exists in the spec only as a side-effect of Undo-ing the original Create activity.

I've got a few #RSS feeds that are mostly about images, e.g. some tumblrs or photoblogs. Are there any good readers that give me this in a gallery presentation, with more than one image at once?

Ma, di sicuro, De André non avrebbe schifato la tua conoscenza.
Io ricordo i funerali di Berlinguer (io non ci andai, lavoravo, ma comunque non amo i funerali) e la grande partecipazione, ma si trattava di un leader, stimato da milioni di persone, che di sicuro non schifava il contatto con le persone comuni (indipendentemente dal loro abbigliamento).
Mi commuovo perfino ascoltando la canzone dei Modena City Ramblers...
