As we approached my stop, I got an idea. I stood up, grabbed my bag, and started heading to the door. But I stopped in front of him and held my phone up to his face. "Have you seen this?" I asked. He just looked and didn't answer. I went to the door and stepped off, not looking back.
As we were going through the downtown corridor, a guy got on the train and sat across from me. I looked up and realized I really needed to talk to this guy. But I didn't know how to do it without embarrassing us both.
I went to Seattle for SEAGL a couple of months ago. I took the Link light rail from SeaTac to the university district where my hotel was. The train was about half full. I spent most of the time on my phone catching up on Fediverse posts, texts and email.
