I am working on the ActivityPub plugin for WordPress and tried to follow my blog from a vernissage account today, without any luck. Can you maybe support me, by telling me what I might do wrong?
Here are two example blogs:

@pfefferle@mastodon.social @mczachurski @activitypub.blog I was already following the @activitypub.blog one, but the @pfefferle@notiz.blog not. Instantly it says I'm following; then returns to pending request. Seems like something on federation doesn't work. Check logs, and maybe server's date. I bumped with my head against the wall multiple times before detecting that my vps server's date was one hour earlier than current real date.

@elettrona it could cause some time, because the `Accept` will be sent vie WP_Cron.

@pfefferle Hi Matthias, I’ll look closely this week into why this isn’t working (I’ll check what’s being logged and whether there’s any issue during communication) and I’ll let you know exactly what I find. Thanks for the information 👍.

@lilo @notthatdelta @lexfeathers well, it's targeting duckduckgo users... whom i suspect have largely gone to DDG to avoid AI on other search engines. Not saying it doesn't likely reflect a growing public backlash against AI everywhere, but I am saying the target demo is biased

@lexfeathers I made an AI as a project in college. I know how it works in depth. NO! The fact that AI has become so popular is only because the military is giving our tax money to greedy corporations to keep their monopolistic failures of a carcass afloat because their CEOs have more money than brains. The technology is not useful to the common joe and jane.
