@IngridHbn This infographic is fantastic!!👀✨
I really appreciate the crystal-clear messaging in these diagrams; that left-side image ALONE communicates all the information the audience needs to recognize that *our natural instinct (to grab & lift immediately) is BAD!*😳‼️
Likewise, the right-side images lay out an easily interpreted memorable sequence of instructions. So good!!😘👌

@IngridHbn
I've learned that here about maybe a year ago. I'm still sad about all the snails I attempted to rescue from being crushed on roads that I picked up as shown on the left side of the image. 😞 -
@IngridHbn I believe most are hermaphrodites, so.. them? 😄👍 Thanks for sharing!

@IngridHbn
This is really well communicated here, thank you for sharing it.Although (because I am an atrocious pedant) most land snails aren't a him or a her... they're hermaphrodites!

@IngridHbn ‼️ EDIT: ⚠️ Illustration not yours 👎 no source given 👎 AI-slop 👎 biologically dubious 👎 🤢 😡 ‼️ ⚠️
disappointing experience.

@2ndNatureDev @IngridHbn or "her+him"? bcause they are both.

@IngridHbn thanks a lot for sharing 🐌

@IngridHbn this will be useful for future snail-moving

-
Looks fake.
-
@IngridHbn That looks much quicker! I used to put a leaf or something in front of them and see if they would crawl on, then shift them to a safe place. This would take a while!

@IngridHbn is this AI generated infographic?

@HauntedOwlbear @IngridHbn him and her, really. Or hir, em, them, etc.…
-
@IngridHbn I feel bad for all the snails I've picked up the wrong way! I think they generally retracted, but still...

-
@IngridHbn @simonzerafa "always boop snail shell to retract before lifting" :)

@IngridHbn is this AI generated infographic?
@ianrogers @IngridHbn it absolutely is AI generated. the original source is a facebook ai-generated "nature" page.

@IngridHbn hi Ingrid, in the interest of transparency could you indicate which platform did you use to generate this image or credit the artist? It very much looks like the info graphics some AIs are putting out. It would be much appreciated if AI is properly tagged on mastodon.

@irina @ianrogers @IngridHbn and this is how AI slop starts creeping into the fediverse

@IngridHbn There's a life metaphor in here somewhere.
