From yesterday’s walk around the junkyard. The Junkmaster said this one will be making the move to his future dream junkranch. I want to try and get at least one of the many cars that will be available running myself. This might be first on my list. He said it needs a clutch but was a driver when parked. Should be relatively easy to get running good enough for a ranch runabout. I would probably take the doors off and not worry about a new top. #JunkyardLife #weirdcarmastodon

Tesla Is Recalling Cybertrucks Again. Yep, More Pieces Are Falling Offaccording to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), it appears that Tesla may have used an incorrect primer, which could be the catalyst for these lightbar detaching results#NHTSA #tesla #cybertruck #fail #safety #automotive #auto #cars #trucks #transportationhttps://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/hybrid-electric/a69384091/cybertruck-lightbar-recall/

@thegaffer @pluralistic The shooting sports community has been working for years to do something similar, replacing the term "accidental discharge" with "negligent discharge" to reflect the fact that barring extremely rare mechanical malfunctions, guns don't just go off on their own.If it fires without you intending, it's because you were doing something stupid and dangerous like having it loaded when you shouldn't have, leaving your finger on the trigger, etc.So just like with a significant number of car crashes, it's not an accident it's negligent behavior on the part of the operator. This sort of terminology should become more prevalent in general.

Borgward went bust in 1961 but there is a happy ending to the story. The factory in Bremen was acquired by the van-maker Hanomag, later Hanomag-Henschel. This was later taken over by Mercedes, which produced its popular T1 van there. In 1978, passenger car production returned to the site with the S123 ‘T’ estate models based on the W123. I saw this 1.3 million km example at Techno Classica Essen in 2013. Tough cars.#davidsdailycar #Mercedes #Borgward #WeirdCarMastodon
