@vwdasher I look at these on Mexican eBay occasionally. They were Chevrolet Chevy down there and they are super cheap now.
@Basmitharts Friend of mine has a Chev C30 he's selling. Redone chassis but body needs reassembly and paint. Bloody hell it's a big bloody thing. Has a Corvette engine in as well, duel fuel tanks. I think I'd have a breakdown filling the tanks and seeing the cost.

@iclavijos There's lots of Cupras here now!
@vwdasher nice! Would have never thought about Cupra being down there 😃.
Next time I see a close friend of mine that is parr of the engineering department at SEAT/Cupra factory about that.
And thanks for the pictures, by the way!

Morgans and a lone TVR. The other TVRs were probably still on the tow trucks.
@vwdasher I had a "Morgan surprise" last September.

This is a 1908 AC Tricar, the oldest one left in the world. A geologist used it at Broken Hill back in the early 1900's.
One cylinder, air cooled 640cc. 2 forward speeds, no reverse, Brakes are a contracting band on the rear wheel. That this is registrable is astounding.

This is a Lancia Lambda 15827. Fully repaired and restored in the twenty teens. Comes with a cocktail bar in rear.

This little Punto has lived in the sun too long, and its clearcoat was very sad.

Welp, time to modify my car to add a cocktail bar.

@vwdasher I know you guys do it a bit differently, but here as long as it meets the safety standards from when it was built you can still register it.
I doubt they were too strict in 1908. 😎

@mack505 there would be no Australian Design Rules covering it! I'd hope they wouldn't need to get a road worthy certificate, who would do it!

@vwdasher There ya go! If there are no rules, obviously it can’t violate them!

@brett isn't it just! Really a glorified bicycle, it's so basic. Not even a motorbike.

@vwdasher I haven’t seen one in the flesh since the late 1990s. They must look even smaller now.
