I wanted to visit Japan since I was a kid, I finally got the chance as a grown up, I planned my trip… for 2020. COVID19 happened.
I finally managed to travel in 2025, and it felt a bit like going home.

@inquiline I wonder if there is or was a painting with these critters in the background. I think this looks like an artist was doing a grid enlargement or a precise copy, but they either were very confident about their ability to draw the legs of these animals or were intending something to overlap them. Also unclear if they were only interested in the camel and not the donkey.
