@pfefferle@mastodon.social I'm frankly surprised I ran into a side effect of this so soon after you updated the site  Either the PR is to be reverted or perhaps WP should handle requests to the URL encoded address  But after briefing myself on the root cause, it does seem weird that there exist actors with unicode in their ID. Might be if that is the case you should disregard them as non-compliant, who knows. cc @silverpill@mitra.social

@micke no. But many of the standards that we depend on, like Webfinger, HTTP Signature, OAuth and now MLS are at IETF. There is a lot to see and do here for people working on Fediverse standards.

Andrew Kay (novaTopFlex) is currently in multiple ongoing philosophical arguments involving Alexander Kingsbury, Mojo, and MrLee on Mastodon, all under a common core of shared beliefs for—or against—capitalism. While novaTopFlex fears infinite growth and the criminalization of genuine friendship and authenticity as well as forced conformity to traditional roles in society, Kingsbury claims that capitalism contains no demands for infinite growth nor for related concerns. In addition, Mojo and MrLee have identified common concerns regarding the erosion of community and empathy in a society that prides wealth accumulation as “success.”

@konstantin I used it for the latest incarnation of my resume/linktree site, just to try it out but I do have a grand vague vision of some kind of social portfolio platform. I went through the tutorial and was able to get deployed (deno) and followable pretty easily, but I'm not really a server-side person and I don't enjoy Javascript/Typescript so it's already in maintenance mode. I might have more interest in an equivalent in Rust, Elixir, even...Swift (I think Vernissage is Swift).
