This confirms what I have been observing lately: developers do not test their product anymore. The user is the beta tester, sometimes even the alpha tester.

@lproven There's quite a lot of scam, fraud, and money laundering activity around gift cards also for Google Play, leading to the consequences for unsuspecting users that this post describes. I wouldn't redeem a gift card with a pole, not even one sold by a reputable business.
