    I’m considering removing explicit Tor support in #Conversations_im. It seems that nowadays—12 years after I first introduced the feature—VPN mode is how most people use #Orbot, and many other apps lack a dedicated "proxy via Tor" setting anyway. Let’s do a vibe check with the following poll:

    @daniel @ApostateEnglishman I don't develop an xmpp client so it's not a problem if phrase it like an advert, right?I second the recommendation for XMPP, as it is properly and actively federated, with an ecosystem that encourages small, healthy, community hosted, servers (hosting one for ~20 users is about as hard, expensive and time consuming as self-hosting a static website)

    If a friend bought the #39C3 ticket for you and sent the .pkpass file via #XMPP, those files are now properly identified in #Conversations_im and display with a nice icon instead of a generic unknown file icon.
