Hi everyone!
-
@MiguelGuerreiro I’m getting my BS in the “ecology” discipline for my environmental science degree (and I am a lifelong scholar of biology and nature in general) , does this count?😹
-
@MiguelGuerreiro @dantheclamman is great! Extra points if you can guess his field ;-)
-
@MiguelGuerreiro for everything clams, @dantheclamman is the man. Or any bivalves really. Just don't ask him about arthropods, the last person who did that, we never found the body...
-
@MiguelGuerreiro@ecoevo.socialMy eyes are tired, and I misread your post:
I am looking for fellow biologists and ecologists to follow and *correct* on mastodon.
😀
-
@MiguelGuerreiro definitely @mossesandbees
-
@MiguelGuerreiro I'm a techie who just got hired on in a CRISPR lab!
-
@MiguelGuerreiro maybe @ratvet ?

In Spain: @DavidSD
In Argentina: @Rocahontas -
-
@CowboyWho @MiguelGuerreiro I wouldn't call myself a biologist or ecologist by trade, but thanks for the heads up about an ecologist to follow.
-
@MiguelGuerreiro Did my B.S. in microbiology, but I've been 18 years now in environmental compliance. Sadly, have forgotten much of my educational background since I didn't up in parks like I'd hoped.
-
Does cell biology count, I mainly post gardening and cats anyway.
-
@MiguelGuerreiro Post on all sorts of things, not primarily biology. But it was my day job for decades: evolutionary biology, also molecular systematics. Research focus: terrestrial orchids, parasitic plants.
(And for anyone who wonders why, given the choice, I didn't stick with alien orchids, terrestrial in this context means growing on the ground. Not up in trees like epiphytic orchids.)

@MiguelGuerreiro I'm a biologist/taxonomist/ecologist from Southeast Asia.

@MiguelGuerreiro
Hi! 👋 I’m a physicist turned ecologist based in southern Germany. Happy to get in touch! Also, I highly recommend @YoMosEco and @Louzula -
@MiguelGuerreiro Hello. 🥳
I write here in German most of the time. -
@MiguelGuerreiro I technically have a degree in urban ecology but am practicing a wildly different field. Follow back optional.
-
@MiguelGuerreiro @beandreams for a chqnge of pace, follow @minouette for her fascinating hand made prints, often of invertibrates or celebrating science.
-
@MiguelGuerreiro I have a college degree from a human ecology department if that helps? I just don't work in the field
-
@MiguelGuerreiro I'm intent on going whichever direction gets me working with venom conversion to medicinal benefit (Snakes, spiders, scorpions, etc.). Believe that would involve microbiology for one. Currently a few classes from my Associate's
