@georgetakei ha ha now the American Taliban is getting deployed overseas, my old comment America lost against the Afghani Taliban because half of them on the ground were like these guys are what we want to be - raping kids and women, having gay sex when it's forbidden for everyone else and confining women only to do housework only etc has come true, now a majority are just Taliban who likes pork & beer, so think they are superior than their Afghani cousins.

@A_Minion @georgetakei One might point out that "the rapture" is a relatively recent addition to Fundamentalist/Evangelical Christian theology. It was apparently first proposed by Increase Mather, whose brother, Cotton Mather, had something to do with the Salem Witch Trials. It languished for a while before John Darby promoted it in the 1800s.
