My SportsTrash filter has finally reached 150 keywords.

I don't hate sports, just the capitalism/fanatism around them.

I was supplied with a secure locked down laptop to deal with a client's sensitive data. Of course, I don't have admin rights, or BIOS password, and I don't own the device so I can't install anything on it.

The laptop is very old.

But the laptop has Windows 11 on it.

It's is the single slowest PC I have ever used, and I know what the Turbo button does to a 486.

Very similar to how I always misspell flase...

If I would get some chnage back whenever I misspell chagne I would have enough cahnge to changen my whole life.

It's wild because the news is full of deplorable men. Men which shouldn't even be called men. Men who abuse. Men who corrupt. Men who shouldn't be called men but bullies and criminals.

And yet, on a random trip, almost unplanned (it was supposed to be tomorrow and not me on the ambulance) I found a man I could respect.

A old man who will never be famous but will have the love of his children.

bad men get more attention but good men are what keeps the world together.

"I really mean it, if you need my jacket, you can have it."

And the old man said, "oh I believed you the first time, your face says the truth."

I told him, "I try to help whenever I can. My mother made me like that."

The old man told me he was visiting his ex-wife whom he still helps even though they havent been together for 20 years. "I do it for our children, even though they are adults now."

I said, "I respect that. A real man supports his people. We all should."

The old man, I thought, must have been 10 years my senior. I told him,

"Sir, I have a long way to go, so I will leave as soon as the nurse allows me to... However... If you will have it, I will give you my sweater. Because the cold here is indeed too extreme to bear all night."

The old man's face turned. From stern. To afable. And he said,

"Thank you thank you but no, no. This cold is nothing. I work in the Sun all day. This cold is good"

I insisted...

I took an ambulance with my mother to an inpatient facility where she will stay for now. She is fine.

When we arrived to her room. The roomate had visitors. A younger woman. And an old man. The man was complaining loudly about how cold it was.

We were getting settled, but the nurses had to physically ascertain my mother's condition, so I had to step out of the room.

The old man had also stepped outside and when I saw him I told him...

For reals tho, I don't know if it's too aimed at kids, for some people to enjoy it. But I certainly did.

If you have daughters or nieces it would be great to watch with them as well.

BTW: My fave Ghibli film, even tho they are all amazing

Somehow I dont think of it as "magical girl", because it's more of a cominf of age story for me.
