The list of applications I have tried to do this in is far far more than two.
And I am NOT coming at this from a mindset, of "boy Linux sucks". I would like to find an option to do this since that's one less thing to use Windows for. I WANT this to work. And I know most of these applications are made on a volunteer basis, and in that sense it's amazing these applications even exist.
But man, either I am too old, too dumb, or the usability is just not there.
Tried two image editing Linux apps to:
1) paste an image I copied on Waterfox to new image.
2) Crop image to selection
3) resize canvas respecting ratio
4) Add text with border (or add text twice with different colors to fake a border)
30 minutes. I failed twice.
I'm sure it's doable. But on Paint.NET that operation, on any image, takes seconds. And you don't have to read anything expect the menu.
Please don't recommend GIMP. I have tried most everything else.
Maybe, maybe, maybe I do not love your art... maybe...
But be DAMN FUCKING SURE I love that you do your art.

@RethinkJeff @20000lbs_of_Cheese Im thinking it might be my cellphone then... The digitizer seems to misfire a lot? But also the bottom toolbar (where Home|Search buttons are) is often misaligned. May be my screen zoom settings. But very often will navigating it will pop up the profile card of whomever account happens to be on that feed.
The whole UI is like a moving target.
Is it me of is the Mastodon web client usability gone off its rocker!? Specially on mobile (Firefox/Waterfox).
Serious question — If you don't use it, I'm not interested in a non-answer. I am also not looking for alternative clients or solutions.
I am not a huge Who fan. I'm not even a tiny Who fan. But I AM massively stoked that long-thought-lost Who episodes have been found. Not just because true-Who fans will get to enjoy those episodes, but also because no art should remain lost.

No particular reason, but please bear in mind the following.
"Punch up, not down", also applies to sabotage whenever possible.
That is, if your sabotage only harms those worse off than you, instead of the people and systems in power, then you are just merely punching down and not doing sabotage at all.
Also also, sabotage just for the sake of annoying specific people who are economically/socially at the same level as you is merely petty revenge. We don't do that here.

Batman is the ultimate chud. The ultimate "oh how I wish i was smart and could beat up people, that I also judged, while having infinite money and being thought of as a hero" male fantasy. It's peak toxic masculinity.
Like there too much villain worship these days but people still liking Batman is insane to me.
I often think about the Intermission/Repulse Bonus screen in Rygar. The relief of any baddies getting burned as you reach it. Rygar solemn as he stands by the statue. But above all, passing the threshold and triggering the music for the intermission.
Good art stays with you. Rygar has stayed with me. That's why I never take anyone seriously if they say videogames ain't art.
