And again I come back to thinking we need some kind of citizen journalism where the top 5 news item every day are the ones that actually affect most people. Not stock markets, or governments, or corporations, or celebrities. People.

The #1 news item EVERY DAY would be global warming (fuck calling it "climate change")

And then genocide, and after that wars

Threats/loss of life is always more important than Hollywood. Threats/loss of education is more important. Threat/loss of health more imp.

Now look at how the choice of browsers (with no tracking or ads) get slimmer.

The choice of devices (w/o tracking and with independent no-ID compute) gets slimmer.

And it feels to me like we are being led by the nose, to where I do not know.

And it maddens me even more to think like this, and feel, "Am I JUST being paranoid? Or am I not worried ENOUGH yet!?

Curious how, MicroSlop (et all) pushed hard for "AI". Not just that, consider Chrome adblockers ban.

People rejected it and began switching to Linux in enough numbers to make MicroSlop back down.

At the same time, almost in response to people looking for alternative OSes, this push for age verification everywhere...

It's like there's no way to hide from BigBrother and if people find a safe space then laws and shit will crop up for BigBro to get in there too...

And like, people use words but I don't think they understand that the words do not mean what they think they mean...

Last year events conspired in such a way that I could get a pretty good PC. But for whatever reason the AAA games I have tried haven't really held my attention.

And just now @psychicparrot42 was tooting about racing games and I thought, "dam, I should get a cool racing game to play in this.."

BUT THEN...

I thought, "wait a second, I could totally emulate Need for Speed Underground on this thing!"

Looking for Blender enthusiasts that might be able to help out.

I had some words with @resl and they seem to have their project well in hand... But perhaps would like help figuring some stuff out in Blender.
