@pomegranate_stew my guess is it's probably bullshit, and I could've done it another way, but didn't feel like risking it and having the wrong form somehow when I show up at the passport office.

Gah filling out passport applications. Ridiculous requirements. Canada says you *have* to use adobe to fill out the application, can't use another pdf reader or web browser. So I had to install it just for this, which took forever and gave me numerous gratuitous popups, then uninstalled it, which again took forever with inexplicable errors and also opened up their website without consent to fill out a survey.

I wish I had been out earlier, because during sunrise, the winter smog is actually really beautiful. It turns all pink.

I called a coworker to discuss something this morning. Between when I dialed and when he picked up, I forgot what I was calling about. Of course I remembered again once I hung up, and called back.
