Hi friends outside the US! -
Hi friends outside the US!I want that delightful chant from a few days ago at the wrestling event to have a reprise at the super bowl.
There's a tik tok. I don't have it. But I saw it on my daughter's phone.

What the actual fuck.@isaackuo @sundogplanets @adambecker.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy
Less of a moron if he's just going for the money grab, and could not care less about the planet. Which is the version of Musk that my brain envisions.

What the actual fuck. So, this has all the hallmarks of a 'Musk's name just came up in an Epstein email, begging for a wild party invite to the islandβ distractor vibe to it.
You can make 1 million chocolate bars, just like that. I'm pretty sure that the sourcing for parts for satellites is less do-able.
Still. Eyes on.

π From the Verge's interview with Connor Hayes, the head of Threads:They have not yet figured out how to exploit Threads into the thin wedge that controls - and monetizes - the fedi. So, they're going to not work too hard on keeping Threads going, but they are still looking for that inroad.

I need folks to understand some important things about this:I remember when Bill Clinton was sworn in. The excitement was palpable. Everything was going to change: everyone would have healthcare; unions would raise the standard of living; we could all go back to one wage earner per family and care for our own children at home.
I remember the let-down, too. Nothing changed. Nothing.
I think if the Jasmine Crockett's get the wheel, we would see real change.
That's where I hope we are headed.
