it wouldn't produce good looking or most likely not even anything interesting that's just not how paint works. i just think it would be funny

@evan Experience is certainly important, though whether through job or hobby makes little difference except that in the latter case, since you have less time for it, you're acquiring it a bit slower

also like. my history isn't in reality linear, right? like I'll try something and then I look at it and it's shit. so I go back a revision or two and start again and next time I save I probably save with whatever number is next up

the linear history doesn't really reflect that

@aeva i do kind of wish there was just like. An Infinite or at least very long term undo list in blender instead. Like what if if just snapshotted the state of the file every 5 minutes with some reasonable amount of deduplication and you could just browse that like a timeline or use it later for timelapses. Wouldn’t that be sick

@aeva they're not really meant for like. random access. but you still can basically just pull any file from the backup, with versioning as you configured it [this is the part that I found A Pain]. Backups are encrypted, so no one is training Fuck All on it. No web interface to nicely browse anything like dropbox or whatever, though, if that's a type of thing you would want.
