It reminds me of one of those little papered push-up parasols or, even more, like Degas's Little Dancer, Age Fourteen hiding under a broad, weather-beaten sunhat.

I was out watching quail in the yard when I started to hear (and feel!) buzzing immediately behind me.I was out watching quail in the yard when I started to hear (and feel!) buzzing immediately behind me. I turned to find this little fairy hovering at eye level as though e'd been trying to get my attention for hours. Once e was sure I was looking, e immediately darted up and lit in the willow tree for pictures.
