@count_01 @stefano I would fire the manager, show contrition, be clear about what happened, and be speci fic about what to expect moving forward. It's the only way. I could not imagine insulting anyone with whom I did business.

A big company lost my business entirely a few months ago, because they could not own up to the fact that they had damaged the product they sent me, nor could they issue refund or replacement. A Big Ass company could not stick a crowbar into their revenue, and make it right. I had photographic evidence. Even when I closed my account, they could not figure it out. Probably using AI for all customer service, which is why I left another company when I couldn't get through to them that they sent the wrong item. It took forever to get to a real person. These are hardly unusual scenarios. Even AI should have been able to handle them. I wonder how much business a company has to lose before they make changes? When a company loses me, it's forever.

@stefano good for you. Do not take that client back under any circumstances. They screwed up.

They think you orchestrated the loss of their business, even though it's obvious that they lost business because of the way they conduct themselves. Yeah, Buddy, good luck suing for imagined breach of an expired contract.

@nat I think we are just beginning to see what we've done by not taking it seriously enough. Reactivated Epstein Barr has pretty much triggered every autoimmune illness I have. All from one pesky virus.
