@FediTips FYI, that no Fediverse server type has algorithms is no longer true. #Loops by @dansup uses an algorithmic feed for its For You Page.

It’s an open-source algorithm, and you can disable it, but it’s still very much an algorithmic default feed.

@dansup This is super exciting! Are you also working in any tooling/language that incites/allows people to sign up on instances other than the flagship one? The biggest problem facing Mastodon today, for example, is a high overcrowding of mastodon.social, which deeply harms the capacity for federated moderation load and healthy community-building. It’d be good to solve that problem early!
