@FediTips Liking, favoriting, commenting... a post through whatever service, is Fediverse's life. It's why I love this approach to Internet communication. It's all about "old times" when it was normal to call or send a message without caring of where the person was. To be more precise, "old times" meant paying to talk from an operator to another. But now we have the tech to make interoperability affordable.

Mai ( @rouh ) is from Gaza and new on Mastodon. She doesn't know yet how to network. Consequently, she doesn't receive a lot of donations.The thing is: She takes care of a camp of 30 children. While suffering from genocide herself! Truly heartwarming. She could really use our support.The way to network on Mastodon is to FOLLOW her and share/BOOST her posts.Unlike other social networks, Mastodon isn't controlled by a corporate algorithm, or any algorithm that would make her discoverable. @2something also: one of the strengths of the Fediverse is its variety. If you are unsatisfied with the moderation of the instance you're on (slow to react, mutes/blocks accounts you want to follow, does not mute/blocks accounts you deem dangerous or spammy, etc), consider moving to a different instance with a moderation that better fits your preferences & needs.
