@andypiper @recantha There's AI and there's LLMs. The real AI has been doing stuff like checking for cancer and the like, for a fair bit of time I'm led to believe. I'm fine with that AI.

The AI being peddled by all and sundry is not really AI, it's using "stolen" data to make educated guesses or simply to make shit up! I don't like this at all, especially as Meta used illegal copies of my books to train whatever passes for its "AI" offerings!

Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Thursday. A walk to the beach was had this morning so that MrsD could swim in the sea. The red flags were flying so it was back to the pool! Oh well.
