Looseleft is the feeling of sadness, loss, or being slightly adrift after finishing a particularly good book, according to the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows. I try to prevent it by ordering more good books in advance; not just useful books but something in the same vein or with a similar vibe. Whether they prove to be such will remain to be seen but it counteracts the worry of getting looseleft.

@Giselle floor to elbow is the same as the waist - 100cm

@Giselle the whole idea of having a table purposely built is to take the pressure from my lower back, otherwise it's very uncomfortable. So far I have been using a part of my office/kitchen table and my ironing board as supports for a piece of mdf board, but it's way too low. So, I want the heightof the new table to be definitely above the waist. The thing is, my elbows are level with the waist, so I guess I'll have to lift them a little bit.

A question for anyone who has a cutting table: what is the height of yours? I know it needs to be higher than my waist, so that the weight is taken off my back as I lean over it, but how high is good?

I am getting one built. My height is 176cm, from the waist to the floor it's 100cm. The person building it suggested 120cm. What do you think?
