I'm 32 pages into Tea & Alchemy by Sharon Lynn Fisher.
It's a phenomenal book.
A Victorian-themed fantasy novel, it's full of vivid characters and ample wit. The writing is tight, no wasted wordage, and flows beautifully. And I'm constantly turning the page.
Such a great plot too. It's about a young woman, working at a bakery, who stumbles upon a dead body. Was it the result of a wild animal? Or was it... murder?
A fun romp.
