I hope you're all looking forward to a Fabulous Friday 😁I'm trying a new hobby ATM paper quilling, there was a part used kit donated to the shop a few weeks ago, the manager said as it was already open we couldn't sell it in the shop and if anyone was interested they could take it!! No-one else was bothered, so I thought I'd give it a go! Having fun with that😁
I started my new book club read yesterday afternoon,
Off to the charity shop this morning, having missed Tuesday I'm really looking forward to today's session.
There are no plans for the afternoon, I shall just go with the flow 🥰Sending massive love and hugs to you all

Good morning! I’m not sure I’d have the patience for paper quilling, but give it a try.I need to get groceries, but the weather will be nice enough to mess around outside later.

@halcy I think another part is gratitude. You can curse your luck that you lost your hat, or feel lucky that it was there when you came back.
If you have four walls and a roof, three squares a day, good friends and family, a bit of transcendent joy every so often, that can feel incredibly lucky.
If you are always comparing and judging by what others have, you'll never feel lucky because you'll always find someone who has more or better than you.

@halcy another part of being lucky is being the kind of person that people go the extra mile for. A lot of that is privilege, and some of that is attitude. If you leave your hat on the table at the restaurant, a big part of whether it's behind the counter when you come back, or if it went in the dumpster as soon as you left, is how you treated the staff. "Luck" is in part how much other people want good things to happen to you.
