dear god. I'm in an all-hands call. director says we are adopting a "zero-defect approach" by... ceasing to work on bug fixes, delegate bug fixes to LLMs, while developers focus on new features. I think I've already encountered this approach already, with a GDPR-breaching bug introduced by a "refactoring" fix in July by a dev I'd never heard of before

@andreabont Teom stiano lavorando anche a quello purtroppo.... Sempre più produttori di Android phone impediscono lo sblocco del bootloader. E Google sta blindando lo sviluppo open di android, mettendo i bastoni fra le ruote ad F droid ecc.

@quinta c'è un po’ di Star Trek in quello che scrivi, quell’altruismo razionale, quasi vulcaniano, dove la tecnologia è pensata per il bene comune. Però la “scommessa di Pascal” applicata all’AI mi lascia perplesso, perché non stiamo scegliendo se credere in un dio buono o no, ma come costruire un supercomputer che avrà effetti reali sulle nostre vite. Ciò che distingue Star Trek da snow crash è se la tecnologia è fatta per tutti, non per il profitto di pochi.

E non capisco sta tendenza di lolizzare tutto e rendere adolescente tutto. ( oddio lo capisco ma dopo stanca ). Provate a vedere anche le produzioni moderne di gundam , jeeg robot ( shin ) e mazinga ( sempre shin).

I use Calibre to track reads + FanFicFare for EPUBs. Various fanfic subreddits and lots of Discord servers Lemmy instance literature.cafe. Would love a NodeBB community for fanfic specifically or literature at least.Anything of relevance I missed?

@Zel Mah sì, qualche lieve flessione c'è stata, ma fisiologica dopo ogni boom. Quando vai a saturare un mercato sull'onda dell'entusiasmo, è ovvio che poi qualche utente lo perdi per strada e qualche prodotto non vende bene, ma nel complesso sono ben solidi e soprattutto con prospettive future.
Sono i comics ad aver totalmente perso il pubblico sotto i 30 anni. Esclusi sporadici Spiderman o Batman vengono comprati solo da >30.
