I was too poor to afford a leather jacket, so I had this pair of oversized shorts that I would sew patches on to. I loved those shorts and I think my wife threw them away when I got rid of my Mohawk for good. -

I'd bring back the 80s punk trend of wearing dramatically mismatched clothing—especially textures, colors, and patterns. I already kinda do this with cargo jeans and fluffy pink sweaters, or sparkly heart earrings and steel spiked cuffs.

@alice @eurekasven7 I want belt pouches, like from the medieval/renaissance/generic fantasy periods. Not full fanny packs; just a smallish external pocket off-center. I’ve got keys, wallet, AirPods, pocket knife, and phone to carry at a minimum. I want something more versatile than cargo pants or a jacket. They can add a splash of color, while bringing utility to the table too.

@alice @dan I'm not sure which is more surprising: that US postal carriers have to buy their own uniforms, that the prices are that ridiculous, or that anyone willing to spend that much money can buy an official USPS cape!
(But really, why am I surprised. The answer to all these things is capitalism. Gotta run that postal service like a for-profit business!)

Edit: I realize the irony of that statement when my profile pic is me in a baseball cap. The pic is old, my fourth full-brim hat was delivered today.
I recall seeing an article, years ago, projecting a rise in skin cancer at the top of ears, with the popularity of baseball caps.

Per quanto mi riguarda questo governo è composto da una banda di fascisti ai quali non sembra vero di essere dove sono. Vogliono deformare quella Costituzione che i loro padri politici non sono stati nemmeno chiamati a redigere. Esiliati dalla vita politica per cinque anni dopo la guerra, poi riabilitati, hanno sempre e solo provato ad ostacolarne l'attuazione, anche con bombe e stragi
