@evan i just read your bio sorry i didnt realise you were involved in it! i dont mean to pick on AP specifically. its just a broader trend in tech im trying to work through as part of my community tech advocacy.
but yes, i would say its hard to have conversations about the future of the open internet now without talking about AP integration (in much the same way you cant make a startup without AI now) and its really hampering the funds i can apply for and the conversations i can have

@kim not at all. I work for a non-profit called the Social Web Foundation and being able to make this case is important to me.
I think there are three layers here:
- Advocacy for the technology; audience is technologists
- Advocacy for the topology; audience is decision makers
- Advocacy for using the topology for social good; audience is activistsI agree that the message is different at different layers. It's hard for me to shift up and down!
