Are you changing your travel plans for November because of the US government shutdown?
-
@evan Traveling to an event in Atlanta this weekend, I'm still going, but trying to put in place contingencies.
-
@evan yes but not intentionally
Instead of going back to Chicago tonight Iโm kinda stranded in Toronto for the night
@countablenewt yowza! What's the plan?
-
@evan I can't picture myself going to the US anytime soon.
-
No, butโฆIโm completely avoiding any travel to the US for any reason. Donโt want to even enter the US on a layover. But the government shutdown isnโt the issue for me. Itโs the fascism Iโm trying to avoid.
-
@evan Iโm not travelling anywhere in November, and even if I was, it wouldn't be to the US. I'm even planning ways to travel places that explicitly avoid any layovers in the US. Itโs strictly a no-go zone as far as I'm concerned

@evan never, but never had plans to visit the US. So no change in plans.
-
@evan I guess itโs a very North-America centered poll.
So Iโve added a No, from Belgium.
-
@evan @mayintoronto have not been to the US since 2016 for โฆ reasons. ๐ฉ

@evan Iโm just so glad I got out with my family before they started cancelling flights.
-
I'm a Yes; I took the train instead of going to SeaTac today.
