You can no longer trust by default an image or video shared on the Internet by an unverified source. *Especially* if it confirms your existing beliefs.

You have to check the provenance and the source. If you're not sure that the image or video came from a trusted source, don't share it and don't react to it. Go see if your trusted sources are talking about the topic.

OK, so, here's my theory, completely without evidence:
The film Elysium (2013) proposes a future world in which most humans live on Earth, but a tiny elite live in unbelievable luxury on a satellite called Elysium. Matt Damon's everyman character travels from Earth to Elysium specifically to use a very advanced medical bay or "Med-Bay", which can cure any disease. He is successful, and at the end of the movie, Med-Bays are shipped to Earth to heal all people.
