#DYK that server names in #OpenStreetMap are fictional dragons? Why dragons? Because “here be dragons” is a trope on old maps: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Here_be_dragons

Non mi stancherò mai di dirlo:se prevedete di spostarvi a piedi da qualche parte (facendo lunghe camminate nella natura, oppure esplorando città), scaricatevi un'app che usi le mappe di #OpenStreetMap e vi permetta di scaricarle sul vostro telefono.Personalmente uso #OrganicMaps (non ho approfondito la crisi di inizio '25 che ha creato il fork #CoMaps ma va bene anche quella!) e, ormai raramente, #OSMAnd.Ma qualsiasi sia la vostra scelta: non fate affidamento a #GoogleMaps per i sentieri!

To all those who are annoyed by the video having the wrong orientation (and I am too): please tell me how to rotate a video on Linux without making a mess (that is: re-encoding, installing obscure software, piping 58932570 terminal commands), and I will absolutely do it next time!#Linux #video #videoRotation #terminal #videoEditing (I guess it’s gonna be a #ffmpeg thing, so this hashtag, too)
