I love the excitement for new #ActivityPub based projects. Maybe i'm wrong but 'loops will do for the fediverse what the iPhone did for smartphones' seems a bit out of touch.Nothing wrong with being excited, but seeing how few people know of or care about Pixelfed still outside of Mastodon users who many have bailed for Bluesky, I think maybe, just maybe, the fedi is a hopeful echo chamber in a bubble sometimes. #Reality #Fediverse #Mastodon #Loops #Pixelfed #TikTok #Instagram

@hongminhee @2chanhaeng I see you already got some comments of this nature but was gonna point them out as well. Ibis is the farthest along but Xwiki was the first to add AP to a wiki that I know of. Also Piefed has an added wiki feature for every community but I don't think they federate that part yet.

Vacations are wonderful. It is a privilege to be able to travel without worry. It's also wonderful to be home, and to have the time to work on projects I care about. With those thoughts in mind, I present release v3.1.1 of Ktistec, an ActivityPub server written in the Crystal programming language! This release is a mixed bag of small features and improvements:AddedAuto-link URLs in posts. (fixes #24)Support searching by actor username. (fixes #102)Support hourly granularity in metrics charts.FixedMark actor as down if refresh fails.Remove draft posts from the everything collection.Ignore charts with no points in the date range.Ensure HTTP::Client instances are closed.I added support for multiple users at the beginning of the month. I'm very interested in feedback on how that's working out for anyone using it.#ktistec #fediverse #activitypub #crystallang

@julian @js @trwnh I think it's also important to note that having HTML Web pages, JSON API endpoints and rich media all on different domains is a pretty common mid-sized Web app deployment these days.
