I'm really tempted by #OrgSocial, but I'm an #Emacs gardener, not a blogger.
So, I was thinking: what about creating a network of #DigitalGarden ?
I know nothing about #elisp so my poor man's solution with Emacs and #OrgMode is: let's manually create a gardens.org page.
It will list, in a fixed format, our friend gardeners, with links and the like, so that people can connect and travel through different gardens.
What do you think? -

If everyone of us #Emacs (digital) gardeners will create a gardens.org page in the root folder, the "My Garden" header will contain the h2 header bearing the garden name/title, with a mandatory CUSTOM_ID property built as "mygarden-" plus the URL of garden entry page.
The content of the header being the same URL, as bare minimum (but you can also add a description, if you prefer).Then in the "Paths to Other Gardens" I can simply "INCLUDE" the "mygarden-" section of other digital gardens I like, to connect to them and to show to my visitors other possible nice places to visit.
People that want to link my garden to theirs, can simply copy-paste the CUSTOM_ID from My Garden and including it to their Paths to Other Gardens to let their visitors be able to reach my digital garden.
I'll do my best to add my gardens.org page to my digital garden as soon as I can.

@oblomov @ro @Dunpiteog @sirpondo Tutto ciò non fa che inaridire tutto. E peggiorare molte cose. Se ci aggiungiamo il danno fatto alla comunicazione, alla cultura, persino alla capacità di concentrazione e di dialogare portato dai social.... Poi non vi è molto da stupirsi quando vediamo storture distopiche tipo gli USA di Trump.... Voglio dire che danneggiare la cultura, se non fine a produrre direttamente utili, finisce col ridurre tutta la società a un posto decisamente arido. E pericoloso.

@oblomov @ro @Dunpiteog @sirpondo Mi piace nel loro lavoro quel senso di ricerca un pò fine a se stesso. Il piacere di seguire le loro idee. Ghirri poi era abbastanza disastroso nel gestire i denari a quanto ho appreso. Artista, intellettuale, ma non certo imprenditore. Il dramma è che tutto ciò finisce con l'intaccare anche lo spirito di chi, magari, fa ricerca. Forse non tutti e non sempre, ma ho come idea che i più faccian ricerca con obiettivi ben precisi ($$$), SEGUE

@oblomov @ro @Dunpiteog @sirpondo Gran bell'articolo. Sul fatto che i potenti (ricchi) di oggi non capiscano il significato di Ars gratia artis , penso sia abbastanza evidente. Purtroppo. Mi hai fatto tornare in mente come mai pur con tanti fotografi contemporanei bravissimi io sia rimasto attaccato a Ghirri. O sia rimasto folgorato dalla bellezza del lavoro (salvato per pura fortuna) di Vivian Maier, deceduta in povertà totale (oggi sarebbe se non ricca, perlomeno benestante e famosa). SEGUE
