I'm using Bastille to run jails on FreeBSD 15.0-RELEASE.Does it matter (to Bastille) if I use templates, or can I just manually apply the setup from a template's Bastillefile?Bastillefile example:https://github.com/BastilleBSD/templates/blob/main/databases/mariadb-server/Bastillefile#freebsd #bastille #jails

Hey, #FreeBSD jail/networking folks:I've been trying to figure out whether VNET jail-networking *requires* a bridge0 device with both the LAN-facing adapter and all the common epair ends, or whether, since the epairs are all virtual interfaces, pf(4) can manage to do the routing/NAT without everything sitting on the same bridge0 device. However, when I try this (including net.{inet.ip,inet6,ip6}.forwarding=1) traffic doesn't seem to flow. Is there some obvious thing I've missed or that I should be testing? Or do I just need to throw everything on a bridge0 and deal with it?

Pretty interesting how an old hardware works well and compute well in the strange configurations.Prereqs: Intel Atom N2800 1866 MHz and 2 Gb RAM.Since there are no NetBSD builds of xray-core and v2raya — I spin up a FreeBSD VM inside the Qemu and without NVMM accelerator (not supported by my CPU). Execute these programs inside this VM — and the server still running and even doesn't overload #NetBSD #FreeBSD #Qemu #IntelAtom #SelfHosting

@vermaden @omar I agree. I'd use FreeBSD (or any other BSD) in my laptop if possible. For the next device, I'll carefully check the compatibility. For now, I'm ok with using Linux on my minipc and MacOS on my laptop. I have hundreds of *BSD powered servers so I don't miss the opportunities to use them
