I just bought the last affordable-ish RAM in the world, purely out of FOMO.

@hadronized is 36 considered low CAS for 2x 16GB DDR5? Because that's what I just bought.
@Gina I think itโs okay. Mine is a 2x16GB, DDR5, CL28. I just checked it and itโs sold out, so I guess you got the best last thing available.

But hey now I'll have to build a new pc!
*looks at GPU prices* ๐
@Gina just go get a bee-link MiniPC they are pretty powerful pcs and you can upgrade when need be.

@superuserdo I was thinking a Radeon RX 9070 xt because AMD works better with Bazzite than Nvidia.
Also so that I can play Rollercoaster Tycoon in 4k lol.

I just bought the last affordable-ish RAM in the world, purely out of FOMO. Sorry yall.
@Gina no need for apology; I did a similar thing and had to also buy a CPU to get the good price
(and that RAM actually came in handy the other day when my VM server started crashing every 2 hours! ;o)

@Gina
The GPU prices are down a fair bit now, aren't they? -

@Gina
I'm looking at prices and the same RX9070 that I paid 115k for last February is now down to 95k or so.Which is pretty much the stated launch price when they first showed up.
Edit: BTW, do consider a non-XT model. The performance difference is much smaller than power consumption and price.
