Sharing this image seems like an efficient way to spread the message, but it comes at the cost of your credibility. Our word is more important than ever. Don’t compromise it with mistruths, not even little teeny ones. This is not a photograph from 2020. It isn’t real. It may visually represent resistance, but that doesn’t justify promoting it as real. You are putting comrades in danger.
@seekingfreedom @Infrogmation @cryptica @sennoma You can't seriously believe that anyone in the world will see this post and then simply go out and use their own leaf blower. That would presuppose that all comrades are toddlers, and I refuse to accept that because I have read Hegel as well as Marx.

@wackJackle This has the potential to get someone shot. In Portland they were not so comfortable with shooting someone in the face multiple times and think they'd get away with it. Now the in new landscape they can do just that and claim anything as an offensive weapon. I am not advocating doing nothing but know the risks, which this tip doesn't show.

@wackJackle Pretty sure the best, and almost only, reason to hate them is the two stroke motors most use. The noise, the air pollution, things like that

@wackJackle in portland they had phalanx, black bloc, people were doing dearrests, people werent just watching idly blowing whistles while three pigs pin someone to the ground and empty a can of fucking bear mace point blank in their face.
you wanna do leaf blowers? you need other people to be willing to protect the person with the leaf blower because the pigs will absolutely fucking focus that person if no one is defending them. i havent seen a single shield wall, i havent even seen an umbrella, people arent even extinguishing or covering gas grenades theyre just hucking them into the no mans land like they their arms can compete with a 40mm grenade launcher 400' away.
this is fun as a meme, super cute, but as advice this will get motherfuckers killed. advise people to actually use any of the tactics learned that make leaf blower guy possible instead of encouraging people to go get murdered while filmed by 1000 cameras to the tune of a thousand whistles.

leaf blower person should operate behind a front line, behind a shield wall, behind a phalanx, because if the cops see that they will want to fuck that person up immediately, so there needs to be group solidarity and organization to protect them from that and prevent them from being an option target, their job should be to stay back and wait for lobs in, then assist whoever runs up to neutralize or yeet the grenade to help keep the gas away while they work, also to blow gas away from the front lines from behind it, the leaf blower guy should never be exposed they are a big prime target. there are lots of videos from HK protests where this and other good anti gas tactics were deployed and they should be remembered and diffused again!
