Hello everyone!
As we do every year, we're taking some time off for the holidays.
This year, the #GoToSocial maintainer holiday period will last from December 19th up to and including January 4th, so we'll be back in action on January 5th.
What this means:
- We will make our matrix chat (general, help, and code channels) read-only.
- We will disable our issue tracker on Codeberg so that we don't have to worry about tracking + triaging issues.1
- We may do little bits of work if we feel like it, but we won't be reviewing any pull requests from others.2
- We will be absolutely chilling our tits off and doing fun stuff with friends, family, lovers, and whatnot.
We're looking forward to recharging our batteries over the holidays, and coming back in January ready to kick some ass!

@speedbone @yvan it is. But officially unsupported, so it will break if you don't repatch it after upgrades.
That said, I'm using it. But the "ro" option on FreeBSD is officially supported.

@yvan @stefano read-only root on OpenBSD is easy:
. mount_mfs /dev with size 20m and -P option pointing to a copy of /dev; needed for writable device files; copy of /dev in any dir can be created with 'sh /dev/MAKEDEV all'
. Writable /etc/random.seed is needed at shutdown/reboot. So, make it a symlink to /var/db/random.seed or /var/run/random.seed.
. Test above and set mount / mount option in fstab to ro.

For a long time, I thought the quote from #hagakure talked of dodging the drops, not just ignoring the rain.
But it does not, and my father had the right understanding, perhaps.

Qualcuno s'è organizzato per tempo.
Ma secondo me far rientrare questo fenomeno nella provocazione organizzata dal "potere" è un modo per scansare il problema.
