Very true that, but - actually - ethics-wise it's a self-delusional logical fallacy.
Somebody being a bad person gives you absolutely no right to treat them badly.
Furthermore, there even seems to be evidence that doing so will exacerbate the problem.(And now I would like it if somebody would hand me a ladder so I can get off my high horse 🐴🪜😁)
