Thinking about one of the least helpful comments I ever got. In response to someone saying "Well, all this Spritely stuff seems interesting, but will anyone ever really get it? Could any of the things you're working on really take off?"
To which I had said: "When we were working on ActivityPub, it wasn't obvious that it was going to succeed, and a lot of people told me the whole concept of a decentralized social networking spec is ridiculous. And Jessica Tallon and I, who both worked on ActivityPub, are working on Spritely."
To which they said: "Yeah, well lightning doesn't usually strike twice, so is it really likely you'll succeed again?"

si tratta dei tipici obbrobri derivati dall'abuso degli anglicismi. Perché "persecutore" non è fiquo come "stalker".
D'altra parte, se ci siamo inventati il triplo salto mortale sostituendo al naturale "scandire" l'orrore di "scannerizzare", che a rigore significherebbe "scansionatorizzare", perché l'italianizzazione del verbo "to scan", a rigor di logica dovrebbe essere "scannare", la dice lunga sulla nostra schizofrenia lessicale.

NEW: The pro-Iran hacktivists Handala claim to have hacked U.S. medical tech giant Stryker. Some company systems have been wiped, causing disruptions and outages worldwide.
The hakctivists said the attack was "in retaliation for the brutal attack on the Minab school," which killed dozens of kids.
“In this operation, over 200,000 systems, servers, and mobile devices have been wiped and 50 terabytes of critical data have been extracted. Stryker’s offices in 79 countries have been forced to shut down,” the hackers wrote in a message posted online.
