Can't say I'm surprised, but ffs.
The "s" in "Claude," "GitHub," and "AI" is for "secure."

cool, so there's a whole new github dork people can do: claude chatlogs.
they live in .claude/logs/ and are full text records of peoples entire conversations with claude
and they're ending up in public on github because i guess people arent adding them to .gitignore
happy monday! ai is going great!
@Viss Le sigh.
Please, everyone, always, always, ALWAYS do a git status before a git add, and make 100% sure you're happy with the stuff you're about to add. And if you don't want it in the repo, add it to .gitignore first. As I'm sure you know, once you've added a file to the repo, it is almost impossible to get it out again (adding a file to .gitignore after it's already been committed to the repo has no effect).

@Viss tbh the differentiator of a good red teamer is the way of thinking, not a specific technique being used. Share it. You’ll come up with something new soon anyways.

@Viss oh so pretty quiet then. Never been in an earthquake since we don’t get them here. We’re in a fault zone, but it’s inactive and has been for a long time.

That is excellent advice for people who want to understand how things work and do things mindfully themselves.
