Piefed now generates human-readable post URLs instead of those random ID strings. This issue has been around on Lemmy for ages with no real progress from core devs. At this point, you have to wonder what the Lemmy dev team is focusing on.

Both URL types are available but I don't know what the default one will be or if it's already in effect.

@fucinafibonacci @attualita se vogliono arrivare ad avere un esercito di 3 milioni di persone entro il 2030, qualche bambino in fabbrica e qualche donna in miniera ci sta. Si vede che hanno scelto la via della pace e della diplomazia.

Well this sucks. We had the social media account for our podcast on horrorhub.club which appears to have shut down. I don't think we have a way to transfer any information and I guess we need to find an instance.

In the countryside, there are rituals that have endured for hundreds of years, unchanged.
This elderly woman, her body bent by time and hard work, walks each day to meet her chickens - who roam freely across a vast open space.
She gathers a few branches and leaves, then returns to fetch the food she’ll give them, to complement what they’ve already foraged in nature.The chickens, friendly and orderly, follow her all the while.
And watching them, I’m reminded of people who are no longer here - people who were part of my life for a long time, who lived those same rituals, even if hundreds of kilometers away.Even as everything around us changes, there are places that never do.
