@xupamayne highly recommend expanding your about me section of your profile -- see mine and others for ideas. You can be quite verbose and its the first thing people see about you when you add them for example.
I also recommend searching any hash tags you love and looking for interesting people. Note that you can *follow* hash tags just like you follow people, and those subjects will show up in your feed.

@nxskok @MissGayle @xupamayne Great tip. You can always unfollow or mute people later when you get overwhelmed, either mute permanently or temporarily. I mute some people I follow, because they post so much I only want to check in with them when I have the time and energy. You can also choose if you want to mute everything a person posts or only their boosts.
