@kevinrj @Meyerweb @cachondo This doesn't explain why my job ignorantly uses the imperial system for our juice recipes. 99% of the ingredients are imported from more developed countries that use the metric system on their labeling. So we have to use an imprecise conversion formula for no damn reason other than the lab and management are dumdums

@Meyerweb I don’t know if I’d rather be prepping for 7000 pounds of ice or 110 golden retrievers. Either way, the cleanup will be awful and take days.

@Meyerweb That's the most roundabout way I've ever seen of reporting that the average golden retriever weighs 29.5 kg, or 14.75 chihuahuas. (I am not a veterinarian. Don't hold me to the chihuahua conversion.)

@Meyerweb What do I need to do to get Golden Retrievers in my tree ?
They are better than ICE . Much better. -

@Meyerweb that’s a whole bunch of updawg.

@carbontwelve …well played, sir.
Well. Played.

@Meyerweb Uh...is there a standardized weight that applies to all Golden Retrivers now? Because really, .5?

@Meyerweb This tree has serious "Sierra game in the 90s" vibes to me.

@Meyerweb I'm amazed about the ".5 Golden Retrievers". I mean, clever. How much *exactly* does a doggy weigh? I mean, is this a constant? (I know, a decimal point suggests accuracy)
Besides, I always wonder how anyone came to think of a *decimal* point in some crude ancient obsolete unit.
I suggest to always put it like: "the truck weights 7 11/17 long tonnes". This offers many more ridiculous comparisons like: "that's 14 bathtubs filled to a quarter with hello of raspberry, 9 pups and 3 hamster's penises."
Perhaps we should convince our American "friends" that ANY metric measurements including decimal points are socialism. -

@Meyerweb LLMs must be responsible for these utterly bizarre comparisons
-
@WriteDragon @Meyerweb Aha. That’s good context to have & that’s very good! I stand corrected.

@Meyerweb Is the bottom image AI ? It has to be AI. I really hope it is AI.... It doesn't look like it is AI tho 😭
-
@Meyerweb Were the dog measurements really that precise that they had to say 109 and a half dogs? Why not just round up and say 110? When I assign homework, do I really need to specify that I want the answer to the nearest whole dog?
@AlexCorby @Meyerweb
I feel bad for the half dog they left out -

@Meyerweb why did they have to slice a golden retriever in half, the fucking monsters! 😭

If they didn't also cover the weight in cats, I'm filing suit.
