I’m glad that people are learning about boundaries. But I think more people need to realize that good boundaries also means minding your own fucking business.
Fundamentally, a boundary is a clear line between you and others. So yes, that can look like setting limits on how you will be treated. And yes, that can look like not internalizing others’ expectations of you (real or not).
But it *also* looks like not imposing your expectations on others. It also looks like not policing others’ feelings, experiences, values, and behaviors.
