Safari? More like Beachball.
I mean, seriously, I don’t know if it’s just my machine (M4 Max with 36GB RAM, so maybe it’s not powerful enough for Safari, who knows?) but Safari is unusable with beachballs every however many seconds. It’s a headache even just to test on.
Wasn’t always like this. Used to be my primary browser. (I’m still on Sequoia even though the system is trying its best to trick me into “up”grading.)

@aral I've switched to Vivaldi lately. Despite the Chromium base, I really like the browser and its customizability.

@aral Try a restart and another browser (Vivaldi or Waterfox).

@aral Still down on Sonoma. I can usually outwait Apple when they do something stupid, although buying a mid-2015 MBP in 2017 and having to wait until 2022 before they backpedalled on butterfly keyboards and HDMI ports was annoying
