Today I learned that uname.c on #FreeBSD is a light wrapper around sysctl nodes. For example, uname -r is equal to kern.osrelease.

"Penso dunque sono" di cartesiana memoria sembra essere posto in discussione dalle recenti teorie filosofiche e scientifiche che cercano di risolvere il mistero del funzionamento della mente umana. Ma, se la teoria deve evolvere, quanto incide sulla nostra società questa evoluzione? Perché la regolamentazione delle nuove tecnologie appare sempre più inadeguata?
Non è filosofia astratta, ma un problema estremamente pratico.
