@s1m0n4 @informapirata @informatica di per sé non c'è niente di strano nel fatto che un bambino voglia giocare con i suoi coetanei allo stesso gioco. Un tempo lo si faceva in salotto, oggi si fa anche online, ma questo non mi disturba piû di quel tanto. I controlli parentali dovrebbero servire a "regolare" anche il tempo d'utilizzo di certe app oltre che limitare la cerchia di persone con cui puoi giocare. Il fatto poi che il bambino abbia già uno smartphone personale è un problema a parte.

@s1m0n4 @informapirata @informatica non credo che tu abbia capito. Il bambino ha una switch e vuole giocare online con i suoi compagni di scuola a Minecraft che è un gioco Microsoft che richiede un account Xbox. Per settare i controlli parentali hai quindi i settaggi di Nintendo e quelli di Microsoft/Xbox, nessuno dei quali in realtà ti permette di limitare lo scaricamento di app e di limitare le comunicazioni ai soli compagni di scuola. È un problema reale che andrebbe affrontato seriamente.

oh so a cool happy surprise about this phone is it has four attach points that are nominally for attaching heavy duty industrial accessories, but for my reality they're functionally four anchor points for attaching phone charms :3

@demofox it's allegedly faster. I'm expecting most of the gain to be in GPU perf.

I was not successful at getting a headphone jack, but that's mostly because I decided that having a durable phone without holes in the screen was more important to me. Not looking forward to having to get a new purse so I have space for a dongle, but such is life.
